Here’s an interesting thing about creating and publishing your own project: You need just as many resources, pairs of eyeballs and time to physically sit at a machine long enough to create it.
I’m proud to announce the launch of http://uxprofessionals.com!
In our inaugural issue, we decided to use a very well-received article that was posted on A List Apart. We hope you take the time to stop by and submit your own comments and article ideas.
We’ve made it easy to stay up to date:

We’d like to thank our partners at MediaTemple for the very quick and very roomy server.
Thanks, MediaTemple.

We decided it was time to deliver a new look for the site. When we changed our brand from Aeropub Interactive to Visual Activity in October of last year, we had little time and limited resources to work on a new design, so we did what most people do and quickly put something together.
The site wasn’t horrible by any means, but it didn’t expand well and didn’t follow our brand strategy as well as we had intended. We’ve created a more open design and given the current content some breathing room. We placed a mast image at the top of the home page to use as a design cue for either seasonal or campaign-related imagery, given ourselves a little more room for cross-promotion in the left columns and designed the composition to be in line with today’s standards.
Speaking of standards, the site is currently bullet-proof via the W3C Validation Service using HTML 4.01 Strict, and validates for CSS using the CSS Validation Service.
We’d love to hear what you think. Reach out anytime.
